Summer Time Blues (and Reds & Whites)

Now that the 4th of July has come and gone, we're unofficially past the half-way point of summer. In Northern climates; especially after a very wet spring, this is peak season for golf. Down South, I've talked with clubs as recently as yesterday who "hadn't seen a member all day!" But there are certainly worse problems to have than too much sunshine.

Let it snow ...at least up North

Earlier this week on my way into the office, the radio weather report told me "we're lucky that our first snow has come so late this year." Hmmm... I certainly don't feel lucky. Inevitably, I'm going to search my garage for the snow-scraper that I took out of my car at the end of last winter; fail to find it, and end up buying a new one. Then I'll come home and my wife will casually mention that she put my old snow scraper in the trunk when she looked at the forecast last week. It's practically a tradition.
